Sports Interaction: The Sports Interaction account creation sequence was as easy as it gets. There was only one page that needed to be filled out, and the information required was extremely basic. The only details needed were name, address, email account, age, and phone number, as well as user name and password. Then email verification was needed.

Verdict

Both websites were extremely easy to sign up for. While Sports Interaction had only one page to put all the information on, and 888Sport had a few click-throughs, the time needed was the same, and the information needed was essentially the same. 888Sport: 888Sport is as feature-laden as any betting website I’ve seen. They have a lot of different, creative ways to bet. They have all the basic options like Live Betting and Virtual Sports, and much more. They offer an NBA Fantasy Player of the Night where bettors can pick players who will score the most fantasy points that night, Bet Builders, Daily Competitions, and tons more.

Verdict

While Sports Interaction has a Racebook tab, 888Sport offers horse race and greyhound betting, so they pretty much have every feature Sports Interaction does, and much more. Because of the sheer amount offered, 888Sport has a significant edge in this category.

Sports Interaction: Sports Interaction covers every sport that the conventional bettor would want to bet on. They also offer a ton of niche sports like darts, handball, and snooker.

Verdict

For the average gambler, you’re not likely to find a significant difference between the sports coverage on these websites. While they each offer niche sports the other doesn’t, most bettors likely aren’t gambling on these, so for the typical Canadian sports bettor, I’m going to call this one a Draw.

They show some of the live betting odds on the home page, but if you click their Live Now feature, you can see what other options they have. By clicking on the games you want to bet on, you can see what other live markets are available. They have some lines and some props.

Verdict

Both websites offer a solid live betting feature that would satisfy the casual bettor. The only key difference is that Sports Interaction offers a decent amount more markets available to live bet on within a specific game, with more lines and props. Because of that, Sports Interaction gets a slight edge.

This one is pretty open and shut. I could find a way to watch live sports on Sports Interaction, and it was quite simple, and I couldn’t with 888Sport. Sports Interaction wins this round.

Verdict

Personally, having the app available for download is much preferable to using my phone browser for mobile betting, as I just find the experience to be more customized and immersive. For that reason, 888Sport gets the edge, as they have a real app while Sports Interaction does not.

When I have an issue with my betting sites, I want to call the company and discuss it. The most important aspect of customer support to me personally is a phone line. While both sites have phone lines, 888Sport’s is on GMT, which makes the hours inconvenient for Canadian bettors, while Sports Interaction’s is 24/7. Sports Interaction takes this round home.

Sports Interaction’s website is very visually appealing, and slightly more organized than 888Sport’s. The colours and pictures just pop more, and the website feels easier to navigate because of it.

The Final Verdict

These two sites are extremely evenly matched in my opinion, both having a lot to offer users. They are two of the top betting sites for Canadians, and you can’t go wrong with either one. However, this is a competition and there has to be a winner. For that reason, I’m going to go with 888Sport as the best of the two.

888Sport simply has more fun features, which is a gambler is something I look for. They have numerous promotions on offer, and they also have a real app, which Sports Interaction doesn’t.

I think Sports Interaction’s website is easier on the eyes and simpler to use and their customer service is slightly better, but the expansive nature of 888Sports gives it an edge in my opinion. Features and promotions are two things I really seek out, and 888Sport had more to offer in those areas.

At the end of the day, it depends on what you’re looking for in a site. If you want something simpler with a cleaner layout, Sports Interaction might be for you. If you want more betting options with some fun twists, 888Sport is a great bet.
